Venue/how to get there

The conference takes place at the University of Oslo, Faculty of Social Sciences (main campus Blindern).

The conference takes place in two adjacent buildings:

  • ”Eilert Sundts hus (ES)” (registration, plenaries and lunch)
  • “Harriet Holters hus (HH)” (parallel sessions).

The two buildings are adjacent and there is a covered walkway between them. Click here to see an outline building plan with the rooms.

To get to the campus from the city center, the best option is to take subway line 3,4 or 5 westbound to the stop “Forskningsparken”. Click to see the Subway line map. From the metro stop, walk down the ramp and continue on the path/car park along the tram line. The Faculty of Social Scienes is the second main building that you see immediately to your right. See the annotated Campus map.

Tram line 17 and 18 will also take you to the Blindern campus. The stop “Universitetet Blindern” is directly outside the Faculty of Social Sciences. The tram is a slower but much more scenic alternative to get from the city centre to the campus.
